Expanding search demand beyond the brand.
Chorus One operates in a technically complex staking category. The search challenge combined two jobs: protect existing equity through a brand/site migration, and expand discovery around high-intent non-branded queries.
Migration risk and growth opportunity existed at the same time.
A rebrand or site migration can damage existing search visibility if URLs, content, redirects and crawl signals are not handled carefully. At the same time, a specialist company cannot rely only on searches from people who already know the name.
What we saw.
The migration needed continuity, while the growth layer needed a clearer map of high-intent staking and white-label queries that described the problem or service rather than the brand.
What we worked on.
- Migration SEO and technical continuity
- High-intent non-branded keyword/topic mapping
- Content around staking assets and service-led queries
- Paid-search support around commercial intent
- Organic and paid search considered together rather than as isolated channels
What it unlocked.
A search strategy less dependent on customers already knowing the brand.
The larger lesson.
Protecting existing demand and creating new demand are different jobs. A good migration plan needs to make room for both.
